Nas Law Office advises foreign nationals, expats and investors in Antalya on residence permits, work permits, citizenship and deportation defense. Turkey's immigration rules change frequently and are administered by the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management (Goc Idaresi) — a small procedural mistake can mean months of delay or a rejected application, so getting it right the first time matters.

Residence Permits (Ikamet Izni)

We handle applications and renewals for the short-term residence permit (the most common route for property owners and long-stay visitors), the family residence permit for spouses and children of residents or citizens, the student residence permit, and the long-term residence permit available after 8 years of continuous legal residence in Turkey. We prepare the full document file (health insurance, address registration, financial means, lease or title deed) to minimize the risk of a request for additional documents or a rejection.

Turkish Citizenship by Investment

Foreign nationals who purchase real estate at or above the legally required investment threshold and keep the property registered with a 3-year resale restriction can apply for Turkish citizenship. We conduct full legal due diligence on the property (encumbrance check, correct valuation report, seller's title), prepare the citizenship application file, and follow up with the Directorate General of Migration Management and Land Registry until conclusion. We also advise on the alternative routes — capital investment, job creation, and bank deposit.

Work Permits

We assist both employers in Antalya hiring foreign staff and individual applicants with the work permit process managed through the Ministry of Labour and Social Security's e-Government system, including the employer's supporting documentation, salary and quota requirements, and permit renewals before expiry.

Rejections, Cancellations and Deportation Defense

If a residence permit application is rejected, a permit is cancelled, or you receive a deportation order (sinir disi etme karari), strict and short legal deadlines apply — often as little as 15 days to file an administrative lawsuit, which in many cases suspends enforcement while the case is pending. We represent clients before the Antalya Administrative Court in these matters and, where relevant, coordinate with a parallel criminal defense if the two are connected.

Why Act Early

Most immigration problems in Turkey are easier and cheaper to fix before a deadline passes than after. If your permit is expiring soon, if you have received any written notice from Goc Idaresi, or if you are planning a real estate purchase for citizenship purposes, we recommend a legal review before you submit anything.

Fees

Fees are agreed individually based on the scope of the matter (a straightforward permit renewal differs greatly from a citizenship-by-investment file or a deportation appeal), subject to the minimum fee schedule published annually by the Union of Turkish Bar Associations. You receive a clear estimate after we review your situation.
